Private Locations

Private locations belong to a workspace. Each has a name, an authentication token, a connection status, and a last-seen time. The monitors attached to it must belong to the same workspace.

The agent reaches your internal targets and reports results back to Probed. It requires outbound connectivity to Probed and access to each target; it does not make an unreachable target accessible to other locations.

Availability and lifecycle

Hobby includes one private location and Starter includes two. Private-location quotas are separate from managed region selection.

Create, edit, and remove locations in Settings → Private locations. Review attached monitors before removing an agent or location: checks that depend on it need a working replacement.
